Blimbing

Welcome to the Blimbing region

On the two-hour drive to Blimbing from Seminyak, which is often congested, we'll stop in Bajera to explore its traditional market and purchase a sarong. This is a rectangular garment at least one meter wide, tied at the waist with a piece of fabric. It's essential for accessing Balinese places of worship. From Blimbing, we'll begin a hike of about two hours, with an elevation gain of +260 meters, passing through villages and breathtaking rice paddies. We'll also discover cocoa, durian, pineapple, and grapefruit crops. Our evening will be spent camping around a feast prepared by the villagers.

Continue to Mekori Temple

This temple, which was built several centuries ago, is a remarkable example of Balinese architecture.
