<strong>1946<\/strong> by the last king of Karangasem, <strong>Anak Agung Anglurah Ketut Karangasem Agung<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<li>The name <em>Tirta Gangga<\/em> means <strong>\u201cwater of the Ganges\u201d<\/strong>, in reference to the sacred river of Hinduism.<\/li>\n<li>The <strong>natural sources<\/strong> which feed the site are considered as <strong>sacred<\/strong> and used for <strong>purification rituals<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>\ud83c\udf3f <strong>Architecture and atmosphere<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>The palace is a <strong>water garden<\/strong> of almost one
