Avec leurs parois rocheuses escarp\u00e9es et leur v\u00e9g\u00e9tation abondante, elles s'\u00e9tendent sur environ 16 kilom\u00e8tres. Les marcheurs peuvent y d\u00e9couvrir une faune et une flore diversifi\u00e9es, ainsi que des vestiges historiques tels que l'ancien village d\u00e9sert\u00e9 de Samaria. Nous effectuerons un transfert d'Omalos \u00e0 Xiloskalo (1200m), puis une descente dans les gorges de Samaria. La premi\u00e8re partie de la randonn\u00e9e est en forte pente, mais nous atteindrons ensuite le c\u0153ur des gorges et suivrons le cours de la rivi\u00e8re. Arriv\u00e9e au village d'Agia Roumeli pour une baignade bienvenue.
