- Every week, the city organizes free outdoor shows, the popular festivals, and the religious processions.
- The craft markets and the art galleries reflect local creative wealth.
🍽️ Yucatecan gastronomy
- Typical cuisine: cochinita pibil (marinated pork cooked in banana leaves), panuchos, salbutes, sopa de lima, and papaya sweets.

I had the opportunity to taste the Arrachera, an exceptionally tender bull meat with exquisite flavors. Served with guacamole and potatoes, it was simply divine. All accompanied by an excellent Cabernet Sauvignon. The atmosphere was at its peak thanks to the music of a Mexican singer and his guitar. An unforgettable moment in this restaurant, which also offers a menu adapted for vegetarians.
