- Susa is located in the region of Piedmont, at about 50 km west of Turin, in the Susa Valley, at the foot of the Cottian Alps.

🧬 History and heritage
- Founded by the Celts then integrated into the Roman Empire, Susa became a strategic center at the crossroads of trade and military routes.
- It was the capital of kingdom of Cottius, an autonomous territory allied with Rome.
- In the Middle Ages, it played an important role in the States of Savoy, notably thanks to Adelaide of Susa, an influential figure of the 11th century.
