Ronda

Welcome to Ronda
Ronda is located on steep cliffs and offers exceptional panoramic views. It is crossed on each side by a canyon, called El Tajo, which plunges to a depth of 100 meters. It is possible to descend on one side by a hiking trail and on the other by stairs cut into the rock that lead to the river. Southeast of Ronda is the Sierra de las Nieves Natural Park, home to the highest peak in western Andalusia, Torrecilla (1918m). Numerous hikes can be done in this park, which is also home to numerous ibexes and several species of eagles.
