Hiking in Navarosse

Welcome to the Navarosse hike

Start from the Navarosse port parking lot. Return along the road to the crossroads.

You will follow the canal to the right until you reach the footbridge, but you will not take the footbridge which crosses the canal.
At the footbridge, turn left through some houses and then follow the canal to the bridge.
You will pass the road and continue straight ahead. You will follow the Landes coastal canal; a cycle path has been built at one point parallel to the path. The path is pleasantly shaded by trees.
Cross the D.146 to continue on the Vélodyssée cycle path along the Petit étang de Biscarosse. (For those who want to shorten the journey they can join the route in 7 by crossing the canal).
When you reach the end of the track, turn right across the bridge, and after about 200 meters, turn right towards the Petit étang.
At this point, picnic tables are set up. Continue towards the path, which has blue markings. Be careful from here on, the route is constantly in the sand. For those who want an easier route, you can return by the outward route. Also note that up to section 8, the wild area, you may encounter animals such as wild boars, so be careful.
Be careful when crossing the road. The route is not easy because you have to walk in the sand, which makes it more difficult to move forward.
Once you reach the road, take the path on the right that runs alongside the boats and their repair center. Then, take the outward route again, turning left. At the footbridge, you'll find a restaurant where you can have a drink or something to eat after this beautiful hike. You can also cross the footbridge to reach Navarosse Beach.
